This help has a washable pre-filter and copy filter. I don’t conceive that the 5300 has washable filters. Note that this help is somewhat diminutive than the 9000 and uses assorted filters.

Bought this to help with the terrible allergy problems we hit in Austin, Texas. Our concern is older and lets in a aggregation of right air, but I desired to ready the expose in my bag duty (16′x16′) as breathable as possible. Update May 2012 : Still going strong with routine use. However, I had to verify the carbon separate out. Rather than change the separate every ($ $ ) I would change the tiny carbon pellets using a containerful of them that I ordered from Amazon. It’s enthusiastic that I could do this on my possess and that the carbon separate wasn’t a ‘sealed unit’, impart you! However .. eventually, I got bushed of doing this erst every period or two. So now I ingest the organisation meet for the ‘plasma’ feature and the filter. Rating stays at 4 stars.
